Ray almost drowned in Sri Lanka at 26 years old. He gave up hope and a change in consciousness occurred. He became determined to understand what caused this change. As a result of meditation practice his enquiry broadened in an attempt to find out why the mind works the way it does. He eventually saw that, 'There was no me' and that separation is an illusion. Ray talks about his spiritual journey over many years and what has helped him on his way. He now works as a meditation teacher and runs retreats in Europe.
